Timothy Compeau

I am a historian of the eighteenth century with a particular focus on the cultural history of the Revolutionary period. I received my PhD from the University of Western Ontario in 2015. My current book project explores the role of honor culture in the experience of loyalists in the American Revolution. photo.jpg 

I also research and teach public history and digital history. I was the co-editor of Seeing the Past with Computers: Experiments with Augmented Reality and Computer Vision for History (University of Michigan Press, 2019). I teach Global history at Huron University College in London, Ontario and Digital Public History in the history graduate program at the University of Western Ontario.
