I am a historian of the eighteenth century with a particular focus on the cultural history of the Revolutionary period. I received my PhD from the University of Western Ontario in 2015. My current book project explores the role of honor culture in the experience of loyalists in the American Revolution.
I also research and teach public history and digital history. I was the co-editor of Seeing the Past with Computers: Experiments with Augmented Reality and Computer Vision for History (University of Michigan Press, 2019). I teach Global history at Huron University College in London, Ontario and Digital Public History in the history graduate program at the University of Western Ontario.
